Grayscale is a US digital asset investment manager, known for its Bitcoin and Ether funds, and a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group. Peter Mintzberg is CEO.
Grayscale filed an S-1 for a Grayscale HYPE ETF (proposed ticker GHYP) on 20 Mar 2026 with Coinbase Custody as custodian, and amended it in May 2026 to allow staking. It launched as the Grayscale Hyperliquid Staking ETF (HYPG) on Nasdaq on 3 Jun 2026 at a 0.29% fee, the lowest of the US spot HYPE funds. Hyper Holdings Global LP agreed to put in about 2M HYPE (about $150M) in exchange for shares. Reported assets were about $186M in late Oct 2026.
