Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN) is a US crypto exchange and the company behind the Base network and Base App.

Coinbase listed HYPE for spot trading (HYPE-USD) on 5 February 2026. On 14 May 2026 it became Hyperliquid's official treasury deployer for USDC as an aligned quote asset, with Native Markets' USDH set to sunset. On 19 August 2026 it added Hyperliquid perps (290+ markets, up to 50x) to Base App for self-custody users outside the US, UK and Canada.

Coinbase was named custodian in 21Shares' October 2025 HYPE ETF filing.
