Circle (NYSE: CRCL) is the issuer of the USDC stablecoin and operator of the Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP).

On 16 September 2025 Circle launched native USDC and CCTP V2 on HyperEVM, replacing bridged USDC, and said it had made its first HYPE token investments and was evaluating becoming a Hyperliquid validator. Circle's developer docs now describe CCTP deposits and withdrawals between other chains and HyperCore through a CoreDepositWallet contract on HyperEVM.

USDC is the main collateral asset on Hyperliquid. Circle does not run a validator as of 27 October 2026.
