Asymmetric Research is a security firm that does vulnerability research, incident response and infrastructure work for blockchains and DeFi protocols, including Solana and Monad. It was founded by ex-Jump Crypto security leads Jonathan Claudius (CEO) and Felix Wilhelm (CTO).

On Hyperliquid, it has run the "Asymmetric Research" validator since July 2026. The validator is active with about 3.83M HYPE staked and a 1.5% commission.
