Hyperbeat: The Native Yield Layer

Hyperbeat is a protocol born from the Hyperliquid ecosystem with the mission of scaling the chain and strengthening its role as the people’s L1. Built by early Hyperliquid users turned native builders, it is designed to deliver yield infrastructure at the intersection of conviction and flawless performance. Hyperbeat develops validator services, liquid staking, automated DeFi vaults, money markets, and credit products, all of which keep capital circulating natively within Hyperliquid. The protocol’s guiding belief is that ownership should flow to those who build and participate rather than rent-seeking insiders, and its products reflect this ethos.
Protocol Overview
Hyperbeat combines validator infrastructure with strategic partnerships and liquidity primitives. It began with PURRint, an initiative rewarding HYPE stakers with ecosystem tokens through a validator run in collaboration with Hypio and P2P.org. This initiative was later merged into Hyperstrategy, broadening the scope and reach of Hyperbeat while maintaining strong community alignment. Through these partnerships, Hyperbeat has integrated NFT communities, validator operations, and treasury growth into a single cohesive effort.
Beyond the validator, Hyperbeat’s scope has expanded to liquid staking through beHYPE, non-custodial vaults across asset classes, lending markets powered by Morpho, a staking API for institutional partners, and products like MasterSwap and Hyperfolio. Together, these create a comprehensive yield layer for Hyperliquid.
Validator and Alliances
Hyperbeat runs a mainnet validator node in collaboration with P2P.org and Hypio, following its early role as one of the first validators on testnet. The validator provides secure, institutional-grade operations, consistent block production, and additional rewards beyond block rewards through Hyperbeat initiatives. Users staking HYPE to this validator may also receive boosted yields if they hold Hypio NFTs in the same address, further linking validator participation with community engagement.
This validator partnership powers not only retail staking but also institutional staking through P2P.org’s Staking API. By providing backend infrastructure, Hyperbeat allows exchanges, custodians, and funds to stake HYPE securely while maintaining their own frontend control and customer relationships.
Liquid Staking: beHYPE
beHYPE is Hyperbeat’s liquid staking token for HYPE, created in collaboration with Etherfi and CoreWriter. When users stake HYPE through this system, the protocol mints beHYPE, enabling them to continue earning staking rewards while also using their assets in DeFi.
Ahead of launch, Hyperbeat introduced a beHYPE pre-deposit vault that allowed early deposits of up to 3.5M HYPE. In return, depositors earned a pro-rata share of 10M Hearts, amounting to more than 20% of the total Hearts supply, along with additional bonuses as caps increased. Deposited assets were staked on HyperCore, with withdrawals subject to processing periods of up to nine days.
The pre-deposit vault was audited twice by Hacken and once by Sherlock, underscoring Hyperbeat’s emphasis on security before enabling live liquid staking. Once launched, beHYPE also extended cross-chain to Ethereum, supported by Etherfi for integration with lending markets such as Aave.
Vault Ecosystem
Hyperbeat offers a diverse set of vaults that automate DeFi strategies across HyperEVM, providing users with risk-adjusted returns typically reserved for institutions.
The Ultra HYPE vault (hbHYPE) compounds HYPE rewards from HyperCore and HyperEVM while adding exclusive incentives from partner protocols. The Ultra UBTC vault (hbBTC) maintains exposure to UBTC while optimizing yield through liquidity provision and market-neutral trades. The USDT vault (hbUSDT), curated by MEV Capital and powered by Midas, allows both instant and classic redemptions, balancing speed with efficiency. The LST vault supports liquid staked HYPE tokens such as kHYPE and stHYPE, automating their allocation across yield opportunities. The Ventuals VLP vault serves as the de facto source of liquidity for HIP-3 markets, letting users share in the profits of market-making strategies on Ventuals exchange. Finally, the XAUt vault enables gold-backed DeFi strategies, extending Hyperbeat’s reach into tokenized commodities.
Each vault has its own withdrawal timelines and structures, but all are audited. hbHYPE and hbBTC were audited by Zelic, Sigma Prime, and ChainSecurity; hbUSDT by Hacken and Sherlock; the LST, VLP, and XAUt vaults by Hacken and Sherlock.
Morphobeat
Morphobeat is Hyperbeat’s lending layer, powered by Morpho. It introduces isolated, immutable markets for HyperEVM, ensuring that risks are contained within each market while allowing liquidity to scale across assets. Users can supply HYPE, USDT0, UBTC, UETH, and other supported tokens to earn yield through curated allocation. Risk management is overseen by entities like Gauntlet, MEV Capital, Hyperithm, and Re7, ensuring balance between safety and returns.
Morphobeat vaults are designed to spread deposits across multiple lending venues automatically, enabling users to earn yield without actively managing positions. Withdrawals remain available subject to liquidity, and the system inherits Morpho’s strong security record, including audits from OpenZeppelin, Spearbit, and Certora.
MasterSwap
MasterSwap is Hyperbeat’s aggregator of aggregators, providing optimized swaps across HyperEVM. Instead of users checking multiple platforms, MasterSwap queries Liqd, LI.FI, OpenOcean, and GlueX to deliver the best price in one step. It charges no additional fees, inherits the security of the underlying aggregator routers, and ensures users are eligible for any future aggregator airdrops tied to those swaps.
Builder Codes and Hyperfolio API
To empower developers, Hyperbeat offers Builder Codes and the Hyperfolio API. Builder Codes allow builders to capture revenue by routing activity into vaults, staking, or liquid staking, with transparent attribution of user flows. Combined with Hyperfolio, this creates monetization opportunities for dashboards, bots, or structured products.
The Hyperfolio API provides real-time tracking of vault data, APYs, TVL, and user positions across HyperEVM. Builders can integrate this API to create full analytics dashboards or trading tools, while protocols can use it for composability with Hyperbeat products.
Hearts Program
Hearts is Hyperbeat’s native points system. With a fixed supply of 51M distributed weekly, it rewards users for engaging with the protocol across vaults, staking, and referrals. Hearts rankings range from Bronze through Challenger, based on cumulative points earned. The program was designed with a clear endpoint to avoid dilution, distinguishing it from other indefinite points campaigns in DeFi.
Referral codes extend the system by allowing users to share in the Hearts earned by their invitees. More than 45M Hearts have already been distributed to over 50,000 addresses, making it one of the most widely recognized incentive programs in the Hyperliquid ecosystem.

Audits and Security
Hyperbeat vaults and infrastructure are backed by extensive audits. The hbHYPE and hbBTC vaults were reviewed by Zelic, Sigma Prime, and ChainSecurity. The hbUSDT vault underwent three reviews, two by Hacken and one by Sherlock. The LST, Ventuals VLP, and XAUt vaults were also audited by Hacken and Sherlock.
In addition to vault-level audits, Hyperbeat leverages infrastructure from partners such as Veda, August Digital, Midas, and Morpho, each of which has its own published audits. This layered approach ensures that Hyperbeat benefits from multiple independent reviews across its stack, reinforcing user confidence.
Growth and Updates
Hyperbeat has seen rapid adoption, crossing $350M in TVL across Earn and Morphobeat vaults, staking over 3M HYPE, and reaching highs of more than $55M in Masterswap trading volume. It raised $5.2M in a seed round co-led by Etherfi Ventures and Electric Capital, with contributions from Coinbase Ventures, Chapter One, Selini, Maelstrom, Anchorage Digital, and community backers.
Recent product launches include dnTokens, which tokenize delta-neutral strategies like dnHYPE, dnBTC, and dnPUMP. These fungible tokens represent isolated yield strategies, making delta-neutral yield composable and flexible across DeFi. Hyperbeat Pay, meanwhile, channels yield from USDhl stablecoins into cashback rewards, turning payments into a value loop that returns benefits to users in HYPE.
Community and Builder Perspectives
Hyperbeat addressed both user concerns and builder priorities with clear commitments. The team emphasized that the Hearts program will conclude once all 51M points are distributed, guaranteeing users a fixed endpoint. They confirmed that liquidity will remain the priority, working with nearly every HIP-3 deployer to ensure markets launch with healthy depth.
Validator operations have also been extended into exchange and custodian integrations, with Bybit already routing stake into the Hyperbeat x P2P.org x Hypio validator. Looking forward, Hyperbeat plans to expand Hyperbeat Pay, roll out further dnTokens, scale beHYPE integrations, and deepen liquidity support for HIP-3 markets. These statements reflect both transparency with the community and a strategic vision for Hyperbeat’s role in the evolving Hyperliquid ecosystem.
